I joined the board in order to help the Jewish Community of Maui become more unified. To try and facilitate growth in membership and participation in our local Jewish community. I have had the great pleasure of getting to know so many outstanding human beings who also happen to be members of our temple. We our truly blessed to have such a dynamic and close Jewish community on Maui. |

If I can be of service to the Jewish community of Maui, it is a reflection of my respect for the sacrifices my grandparents endured in coming to the US. If I can be of service to the larger community of Maui, it is a reflection of my gratitude to a place where I knew I was "home" the minute I stepped off the plane so many years ago. |

Judaism as a spiritual pursuit and as a way of life is the most influential aspect of my mode of existence. It has served me well for nearly 25 years in the varying stages of my continually changing self identity. It demonstrates the character traits that we need to be happy and successful, lends a structure for living and child rearing and offers diverse avenues for clean fun spirituality and self improvement. And to be able to do this on Maui is truly a gift with the makings of paradise! |
