High Holidays 2021

We look forward to celebrating the High Holidays in a combination of outdoor and indoor services...all of our services will also stream on Zoom.

Why not all outside? Kihei is hot and windy, even under a tent. It can be harder to hear outside since it's during the week and there is construction happening next door, and also our zoom connection is more difficult. Having a combination of indoors for the day-time events and outdoor for the evening events makes the most sense. We appreciate your support as we make this a meaningful holiday season for everyone.

Indoor seating is limited to 5 people to comply with Hawaii mandates for indoor events. Reservations and vaccinations are required. Members will be given first priority to indoor seating and will be open to non-members on August 16. People seated indoors will be required to wear a mask at all times and be socially distanced. Reservations for each service will close 48 hours prior to allow us adequate time for set up.

Outdoor seating is limited to 10 people masked to comply with Hawaii mandates. Please keep in mind that our outdoor area is in a neighborhood and there will be road noise and it may be difficult to hear the whole service. We will do our best for lighting, and we suggest you bring a small flashlight to help you see the prayer book as the sun goes down. Reservations will close 48 hours prior to allow us adequate time to set up.

ZOOM will be used to stream all of our services as well. We know that it can be difficult to hear sometimes, and we will do our best to make it enjoyable for everyone. We will also be loaning out our Siddurim again to use at home to follow along. Pick up will be in Kihei and Kula
